Trường THCS và THPT Nguyễn Tất Thành (NTT) và Học viện Raffles Institution (Singapore) từ lâu đã có mối quan hệ hợp tác gắn bó và thân thiết. Mới đây, vào sáng thứ Tư (18/09/2024), vượt qua rào cản về khoảng cách địa lí và ảnh hưởng của cơn bão Yagi, hai trường đã có buổi giao lưu, trao đổi học sinh theo hình thức trực tuyến qua phần mềm Microsoft Teams. Tuy vậy, buổi giao lưu vẫn diễn ra trong sự hào hứng, vui vẻ của các học sinh và đã để lại nhiều ấn tượng khó quên.
Dù không có cơ hội được đến thăm và trải nghiệm trực tiếp tại nước bạn, nhưng học sinh của cả hai trường đều có thể hiểu rõ hơn về hai đất nước Việt Nam và Singapore thông qua những thông tin bổ ích, những video thú vị giới thiệu về hai đất nước tuyệt đẹp này. Với sự chuẩn bị kĩ càng, cẩn thận của CLB Tiếng Anh (E4E), CLB Âm nhạc (M4U) và CLB Khoa học (SPC), buổi giao lưu của hai trường đã đem lại cho học sinh nhiều kỉ niệm đẹp.

Đây là cơ hội giúp các học sinh của hai trường được trao đổi, trò chuyện với nhau để giải đáp thắc mắc của bản thân và lắng nghe những thông tin thú vị về nước bạn.

Ngoài ra, các học sinh còn được tham gia vào hoạt động tập hát ca khúc “Trái Đất này là của chúng mình” do CLB Âm nhạc (M4U) tổ chức. Mặc dù học sinh nước bạn còn gặp khó khăn trong việc phát âm nhưng nhờ sự hướng dẫn chi tiết từng câu của CLB M4U, học sinh trường Raffles đã có thể cùng hòa ca theo giai điệu của bài hát, giúp tất cả thêm gắn kết và gần gũi hơn.

Bên cạnh các hoạt động tìm hiểu về đất nước Việt Nam, tập hát ca khúc Việt Nam, học sinh trường Raffles còn được theo dõi những thí nghiệm, tham gia những trò chơi thú vị do CLB Khoa học (SPC) hướng dẫn. Từng thí nghiệm, trò chơi đều khiến tất cả vô cùng bất ngờ và tò mò, hào hứng theo dõi diễn biến tiếp theo, từ đó, góp phần đánh thức niềm đam mê khoa học của mỗi học sinh.

Qua buổi giao lưu trực tuyến, mối quan hệ hợp tác giữa Trường THCS và THPT Nguyễn Tất Thành và Học viện Raffles (Singapore) lại được khẳng định ngày một bền lâu và thắm thiết hơn nữa. Buổi giao lưu đã giúp học sinh của mái trường mang tên Bác trau dồi, rèn luyện khả năng giao tiếp bằng tiếng Anh, tích lũy vốn hiểu biết, học hỏi thêm về văn hóa, lịch sử của nước bạn, từ đó thêm tự hào, có ý thức giữ gìn và phát huy bản sắc văn hóa dân tộc Việt Nam. Đồng thời, học sinh trường Raffles cũng có thể hiểu rõ hơn về mảnh đất hình chữ S tươi đẹp và thêm trân trọng sự mến khách, thân thiện của học sinh Việt Nam. Chúc cho tình hữu nghị giữa hai ngôi trường luôn bền chặt, dài lâu và học sinh sẽ có cơ hội được gặp gỡ, giao lưu trực tiếp trong thời gian sớm nhất.

Nguyen Tat Thanh Lower and Upper Secondary School and Raffles Institution: A Strong and Enduring Friendship
Nguyen Tat Thanh Lower and Upper Secondary School (Vietnam) and Raffles Institution (Singapore) have long enjoyed a close and collaborative relationship. Recently, on Wednesday morning (September 18th, 2024), despite the geographical distance and the impact of Typhoon Yagi, the two schools held a virtual student exchange via Microsoft Teams. The exchange was filled with excitement and joy, leaving students with unforgettable memories.
Although students did not have the opportunity to visit and experience each other's countries in person, they were able to gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam and Singapore through valuable information and engaging videos that showcased the beauty of both nations. Thanks to the thorough and careful preparation by the English for Everyone Club (E4E), Music for You Club (M4U), and Science Passion Club (SPC), the exchange between the two schools provided students with many wonderful memories.
The video introducing Vietnam left a lasting impression with its beautiful portrayal of the country's nature, culture, and people.

The students from Singapore also gave a detailed introduction about their country, featuring "The Little Red Dot" and its unique identity.
This exchange provided students from both schools with the opportunity to converse and ask questions, as well as listen to fascinating information about each other's countries.
NTT students confidently shared and discussed Singapore’s famous dishes and landmarks with their peers.
Additionally, students participated in a group singing activity featuring the song "Trái Đất này là của chúng mình" organized by the Music for You Club (M4U). Although the Raffles students initially faced challenges with pronunciation, thanks to the detailed guidance from M4U, they were able to sing along to the melody, fostering a stronger sense of connection and closeness among everyone.
The Raffles students made a great effort to sing along with NTT students in the song "Trái Đất này là của chúng mình."
In addition to learning about Vietnam and singing Vietnamese songs, Raffles students also observed experiments and participated in engaging games led by the Science Passion Club (SPC). Each experiment and game surprised and intrigued everyone, keeping them eagerly following the next developments, and helping to ignite a passion for science in each student.
The SPC's introduction of exciting games and experiments amazed the students.
Each experiment left the Raffles students astonished and impressed.
The Leonardo da Vinci bridge-building game, in particular, proved to be a challenging yet rewarding activity for Raffles students.
Both schools' students celebrated the success of the exchange and eagerly looked forward to the next opportunity to meet again.
Through this virtual exchange, the partnership between NTT Lower and Upper Secondary school (Vietnam) and Raffles Institution (Singapore) has been reaffirmed, becoming even stronger and more meaningful. The exchange helped students from NTT improve their English communication skills, gain valuable knowledge, and learn more about the culture and history of Singapore, fostering a deeper sense of pride and responsibility in preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural identity. Likewise, Raffles students gained a better understanding of the beautiful S-shaped country and developed an appreciation for the hospitality and friendliness of Vietnamese students. Here's to the lasting friendship between the two schools, and may the students have the chance to meet and interact in person soon.
